Bunnybug
The kids and I made a potato stamp today. Rachel titled him the "Bunnybug."
Here he is on my junk mail, looking suave. Soon he'll be making an appearance in some NOTLD: Re-animated stills.
Oh yeah. Bunnybugs and zombies! Life is good.

After some hard thinking...
I believe this is my favorite painting from last year:
"Stakeout"
Acrylic on masonite, 24" x 36." 2008
Collection of Michael and Seabrook Grillo.
There's something about the feel that just hits me right. Makes me feel like a proud father when I look back at it.
Interestingly, the painting took me months to finish. I can often finish a black and white piece in a week of work or less... but this one took it out of me. Fortunately, it turned out well.
I'm working on another black and white painting this week. Images hopefully coming soon.

Swimmer I
This is a small figure study I just completed. I'm working desperately on my portrayal of the human form... the more I paint and draw people, the better I'll get. I'm 29 now... hopefully by the time I'm 79 I'll hit "Old Master" level. Or at least I'll hit "Old."
Acrylic on wood, 10" x 10" (this image is a little cropped, thanks to my scanner.)
$50.00.

Barely Legal!
Don't miss it!
I have a piece in, and there will be 131 other artists showing! The location is awesome, and there will probably be at least a thousand Nashvillians there. This is a one-night-only show celebrating the Untitled Artists Group's 18th Anniversary!
See you there!
